Naturvetarna as a union works to get more people to choose scientific education, and that education and research should be given the means and good conditions to conduct quality teaching.
We stand up for academic freedom and want to see long-term investments in research and innovation - regardless of political influence. Sweden must be an attractive country for researchers and knowledge-intensive companies.
Lifelong learning is a prerequisite for being able to navigate in a society that is constantly changing and is characterized by rapid technological development and knowledge-intensive businesses. By giving individuals the opportunity to develop their skills and adapt to the changing labor market, more scientists can take on strategic roles and contribute to solutions that make a difference - today and in the future.
