Hospital geneticists work in clinical genetics units, which are located in most university hospitals in the country. Tasks include interpretation and reporting of results from genetic analyses, quality assurance of laboratory activities, and development and implementation of new methods in clinical genetic laboratory diagnostics.
Membership in SSG is free of charge, but the prerequisite is that you have SFMG certification as a hospital geneticist, or are in training as such.
To apply for membership in SSG, please contact the chairman Hans Matsson in SSG via e-mail. hans.matsson@akademiska.se.
