Health and Environment

We are here for you whether you work in a private company, as a consultant, in a government agency, in the municipal sector or anything in between. If you are studying, we can be a link to working life.

What does Health and Environment do?

Health and Environment is a network for all natural scientists working with nature conservation, environment, food and health protection. Today, we have members in the state, municipal and private sectors. They may work as inspectors, nature conservation officers, sustainability strategists, environmental coordinators or consultants. In all these areas, the Board works to develop the role of the profession, to create career paths, to make the value of members' work visible and to raise their status.

Membership in Hälsa och Miljö costs SEK 5 per month. For student members, membership is free of charge.

Contributions to student members of Hälsa och Miljö

If you are a student member of the professional association Health and Environment, you have the opportunity to apply for a grant of up to SEK 1000 for participation in events, congresses or training that helps to increase competence in your professional field. Your application needs to be sent to us at least one month before the training (or equivalent) is to be carried out.

All you need to do to be eligible for the grant is

• Submit a justification of about 200 words explaining why you want to attend the training (or equivalent) and how it contributes to the enhancement of skills in your profession.
• Link, picture and information about the training (or equivalent).

The information should be sent to hom@naturvetarna.se.

If you are awarded a grant:

• During, or after, the training (or equivalent), post information on your social media Instagram/Facebook etc and send a print screen to hom@naturvetarna.se.
• After all the points above are completed, the granted amount is deposited into your account. You send us your bank details in this step.
