We want to contribute to increased cooperation between agronomists by developing networks between agronomists during their studies and throughout their professional lives. We would like to see more students graduate with an agronomy degree and we want to help agronomists to continuously develop their skills.
Agronomerna represents Swedish agronomists in CEDIA, which is an organization for agronomists from all over Europe. Membership in Agronomerna costs SEK 25 per month. As a student, membership is free.
- Every year, Agronomerna awards the honorable title of Agronomist of the Year. Something that has been done for almost 30 years.
- Agronomerna publishes the magazine Agronomen four times a year, which is free for members.
- During the fall, scholarships are awarded to members from the Axel Adler Fund.
- Members can apply for a scholarship from the pepp fund to carry out member activities that strengthen networks and community
- Agronomerna participates in Ultuna Business Day to meet students and inform about future careers and what opportunities agronomists have.
- Agronomerna represents Swedish agronomists in CEDIA, which is an organization for agronomists from all over Europe.
Axel Adler Fund
Scholarships can be applied for studies in the field of agriculture and food, own short study trips or for projects that are of benefit (in terms of knowledge) for Swedish agriculture and food production.
