What to consider:
- You can be a student member when you start your first undergraduate course or if you continue your undergraduate course. If you start a new undergraduate course after having been a professional, you are entitled to a reduced fee instead.
- You pay the pensioner contribution if you have retired. If you are still working at any age, you pay the normal fee.
- Make sure you update your details and occupation on My Pages to pay the correct membership fee.

Apply for a reduced fee
For example, if you become unemployed or are on parental leave and have a limited income for a period, you can apply for a reduced fee.
