As a member of Naturvetarna you can be dual affiliated with the following unions:
If you are a natural scientist working at a university or university college, you can be a member of both Naturvetarna and Sveriges universitetslärare och forskare (SULF).
As a dual member, you are covered by both income insurance schemes. If you become unemployed, you can choose which insurance you wish to use.
The regular membership fee for dual members is SEK 310 per month, and SEK 155 per month for dual-member doctoral candidates. The membership fee is paid to SULF. Reduced membership fees are not granted for dual members with SULF.
How to become a dual member:
- You need to apply for membership in both unions. In your application, state whether you wish to be a dual member with SULF or Naturvetarna.
The two trade unions share a common interest in strengthening science education in schools and aim to improve services for members in this field.
The cost for dual membership with Sveriges Lärare is SEK 265 per month, and the fee is paid to Naturvetarna. As a dual member of Naturvetarna and Sveriges Lärare, Naturvetarna’s income insurance applies. Reduced membership fees are not granted for dual members with Sveriges Lärare.
How to become a dual member:
- You need to apply for membership in both unions. In your application, state whether you wish to be a dual member with Sveriges Lärare or Naturvetarna.
If you are a natural scientist working in the fields of documentation, communication, or culture, you can be a member of both Naturvetarna and DIK.
As a dual member of Naturvetarna and DIK, DIK’s income insurance applies.
The membership fee is paid to DIK.
How to become a dual member:
- You need to apply for membership in both unions. In your application, state whether you wish to be a dual member with DIK or Naturvetarna.
If you are a natural scientist and an occupational therapist, you can be a member of both Naturvetarna and Sveriges Arbetsterapeuter.
As a dual member of Naturvetarna and Sveriges Arbetsterapeuter, their income insurance applies.
The membership fee is paid to Sveriges Arbetsterapeuter.
How to become a dual member:
