New professional member
Four insurance policies free of charge for three months. This is what new professional members, including PhD's with employment, get through Akademikerförsäkring. These insurances are included:

To be eligible for the welcome offer, you must, at the time your membership application is submitted, be fully fit for work, reside in and be registered as a resident in Sweden (i.e. have a Swedish personal identity number).
New student member
As a new student member, including PhD's without employment, and if you are under 67 years old, you get:
- Free accident insurance.
- Free health insurance for mental illness, which means that you can talk to a psychologist or psychotherapist if something feels heavy.
- Access to telephone support with a psychologist, lawyer and economist throughout your studies in the " Tusen frågor" service.
