Trade union information for non-union colleagues?
In fact, it is true that only those who are unionized are entitled to the information that is unionized. Moreover, an employer may have different collective agreements depending on the sector in which they operate and thus they deal with different wage agreements, e.g. workers' agreements and civil servants' agreements. It is the employer who is responsible for providing employees with the right information, not you as a shop steward.
As a shop steward, you can order a list from Naturvetarna so that you know who your members are. You will need this information when you represent members at your workplace and invite them to membership activities.
There is more information on Naturvetarna's website under each sector for those who are elected representatives . External link.
The list of members needs to be updated annually, but depending on the number of employees, it may be more often, for example every three months or every six months, if there are major changes. Then you capture new hires, new members and if members leave.
