Pay rise for sick leave?

Unfortunately, there is no general rule that protects against discrimination in pay reviews during sick leave. However, some collective agreements contain rules stating that employees on sick leave should not be treated unfavorably in this respect. Regardless of what the law says, I would argue that it is customary to offer salary discussions and disregard any illness in the salary review.
