Can my employer refuse me to work 100% after sick leave?
In the event of long-term sick leave, a return-to-work plan should be drawn up together with the employer. The Social Insurance Agency and your doctor may also be involved in this planning. You can bring a safety representative or a trade union representative to the meeting. Together you will go through your work tasks and discuss which tasks you can perform and which you cannot.
The plan may result in you being given other tasks for a period of time, or in the employer making work adjustments. However, the employer does not have to invent new tasks. You may also be reassigned for a period of time or on a more permanent basis if it turns out that you cannot perform your duties. If you have a 100% job, you will remain in it, you will not be forced to reduce your working hours.
