Nominate yourself or another member of Naturvetarna. The nominees are presented on Naturvetarna's website and you as a member vote on who should become a congress representative.

What issues should Naturvetarna work on?
The Executive Committee's proposals for the next three years are called propositions. You as a member can contribute with your proposals by writing a motion.
Preparations for the congress delegates
Elected representatives and other Congress participants will have access to meeting documents one month before the Congress. Digital discussion sessions and the Congress School will help you to come well prepared to the Congress.
Proposals are processed
Congress delegates and representatives from professional associations and the Executive Board work together in digital committees to be well prepared to make decisions at Congress. Does the committee agree with the board's proposal, or do they agree to make a new proposal for the congress to consider?
Congress of Natural Scientists
It's time for the congress delegates to decide on the issues the union will pursue over the next three years. During the congress days, the proposals that have been submitted (bills and motions) are highlighted and sometimes there is great discussion and debate on various issues. In addition to deciding on the future activities of Naturvetarna, congress delegates also elect members to the union's board.
Congress facts
- Held every three years, the next congress is in 2027.
- 55 Congress delegates - represent Naturvetarna's members and have voting rights at the congress.
- The Executive Committee - reports on the work during the congress period and presents proposals for the coming period.
- Election Committee - presents its proposal for members of the Board of Directors.
- Elected auditors, representatives from professional associations and the union office participate during the congress.
- All members of Naturvetarna have the right to attend the congress (but only congress delegates have the right to vote).
